Come spend an afternoon hand-building without needing to sign up for a monthly membership. Materials & supplies included! No instruction provided, so it’s best for people who have at least a little experience with ceramics. It’s fine if it’s your first time at Bittersweet Studios, we’ll give you a tour!
Drop-In Hand-Building is just for hand-building (& underglazing) and does not include any instruction or storage of your work! Plan on finishing the pieces you start in one session - we’ll fire and glaze them for you. No use of wheels, the slab roller, extruder, or glazes is available during Drop-In Hand-Building time.
Open Studio Hours for Drop-In Hand-Building:
Thursdays, 3-6 PM
Fridays, 5-8 PM **Closed 2/28 **
Saturdays, 2-5 PM
Purchase of a Drop-In Hand-Building pass gets you access during one date. Please use your Drop-In Hand-Building pass within one week of purchase. To use your pass, simply come in to the studio during open studio hours, and we’ll check you in.
Studio time includes studio access, 2lbs of clay and firing fees*, use of tools, equipment & underglazes. It does not include any instruction, or storage of your work or materials.
Because we are a small studio, groups are limited to 3 or fewer people.
Note: If you’re signed up for a multi-week series class, you don’t need to sign up or pay for extra studio time. You’ll get get access to the studio whenever you want, up to 6 hours per week during the class series! Check out our Series Classes.
Ages: 18+ only.
Cancellation/Refund Policy: Purchases of Drop-In Hand-Building passes are final sale and expire if not used within 1 month of purchase. No refunds will be given.
*You may bring your own cone 6 clay. Firing fees for up to 2lbs of clay included. Additional firing fees are $1/lb above 2 lbs.
